Why Gymnest?
Our mission is to bring together the most fun, useful, and adaptable elements of Floor Gymnastics and Parkour. Each class will be a little different and will devote part of the time to learning the fundamentals of gymnastics and part to learning how to navigate through a variety of different obstacles in parkour. This combination will provide a very diverse and comprehensive movement education for kids of all ages that will not only be fun and challenging but will also serve as an excellent foundation for any other sports or physical activities that they may pursue in the future.

Testimonials
Charles was a fantastic coach, role model and mentor for the boys, and they miss him very much. He was a very kind, encouraging and committed coach to our son Ben at the start of his gymnastics journey. He took time to mentor and guide him through training, learning new skills and taking him to the early competitions. He took pride in my son’s achievements and was always there to support the more difficult times. The dedication that Charles made during the lockdown period was amazing. He trained a small group of boys via zoom 5 times a week, without fail, providing structure and fun to their days. Without that, I am sure that our son would not still be part of the elite squad today.

Charles has coached my son, Harry, in artistic gymnastics from beginner to elite level. He is extremely dedicated and really cares about the children he coaches. Not only does he seek to ensure that his students are technically excellent but he also helps to develop a positive and resilient mindset. He has an excellent way of building confidence in children. I would wholeheartedly recommend Charles as a coach.

We are incredibly grateful to have had Charles as the gymnastics coach to our son Andrei. His dedication, passion, and commitment to all the boys' progress have made a lasting impact on all of us. Charles ensured the boys had every opportunity to grow and succeed. During the COVID lockdowns, when many programs came to a halt, Charles went above and beyond. Without any obligation and without being paid, he took the initiative to run Zoom training sessions, helping the boys stay active, focused, and connected. He built daily routines and kept the squad motivated at a time when it was so easy to lose momentum. Thanks to his support our son and his teammates qualified for Nationals in 2021. We are so thankful for everything Charles has done.

My son Brodie was fortunate to have Charles coach him in artistic gymnastics from a young age. In my opinion, Charles has the key attributes required in order to be a fantastic coach – professionalism, enthusiasm, expertise and dedication.
Charles recognises that everyone learns in different ways and he utilises a variety of methods and techniques that are effective and help to motivate and encourage young gymnasts. My son’s confidence, resilience and ability grew and grew with Charles’s support and encouragement. I firmly believe that my son would not be competing at an Elite / National had he not benefitted from Charles’s support when he was first entering the sport.
We appreciated that Charles was approachable and took time to talk about my son’s development if we had questions – and we also always felt that Charles had our child’s best interests at heart.
